Good-Bye 2010

Well, it has been too long since my last blog and a lot has happened that I need to catch you all up on. I will start with Harry's deployment. Harry is currently deployed for 6 months but I can't say his location but know that he is safe and well. We packed our house up and put our stuff in storage while me and the animals came to stay with my parents in Georgia. I came back to GA to finish college while I had all the extra time on my hands while Harry is away. I am currently enrolled at Wiregrass Georgia Tech (formally known as Valdosta Technical College)for Cosmetic Esthetics to become an Esthetician. You may ask what is an Esthetician?? It's cosmetic skin care for the face, such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials and so on. I am scheduled to graduate in July/August 2011 and I couldn't be more excited.


On to the next thing...our kitten Nila that we rescued is growing like a weed. She is almost 7 months old and is into everything. Her and Max get along great and really love each other. She learns from Max as she grows, so she really thinks she is a dog at times.




Oooo...I got a new car back in Sept. I had to have a ride to get back and forth to school so here she is...




This has really been a great year. I have met new people, accompolished things I never thought I would, became a stronger and more independent person, and set myself on a great career path. I am thankful for being able to be here with my family during this long deployment but I am counting down the days till my hubby comes home and we get to go back to California and our friends there. Bring on 2011 Baby!!!

Lots of Updates..

So, there has been a lot going on in the Sinner house lately. First off..Harry is deploying towards the end of this year for 6 months so Max and I will be going back home to stay with the family. I am not allowed to say where he is deploying but he will be safe. I am not looking forward to him leaving but on the upside I am excited to be able to spend all that time with my family and friends that I haven't seen in along time. We will be moving out of the house we live in now and putting our stuff in storage so we can save up all that BAH while he is away. Obviously we will have to find another place to live when he gets back but we are fine with that.

On another note, Harry had his promotion ceremony for Staff on Friday. He won't actually sew on until he finish ALS which he starts May 25th. I am so very proud of him and all his hard work. Pics from the ceremony will follow soon once I get the email for them. He is actually starting to like his work center more so I am glad of that.

I have finally made some great friends, 3 of which are pretty awesome girls. I am glad to finally have some gal pals to chit chat and hang out with.

Good Times

So we have met some really cool people since we have been here in Cali. The other night we went out to a bar with some of these people and had a blast. It was our first time going out like that since we have been here so I needed to post the pics :)

So, I haven't blogged since Decemeber so I figured it's time to update. Let's see...We are really enjoying California so far. The weather is getting really nice and it's suppose to reach 77 degrees this week. Super excited to get and enjoy the warmth this week. I kinda feel like we got cheated out of summer last year bc when we left Germany on Sept 10th, it was still cold there. We had a good three weeks of summer the whole time we were home visiting in GA, then we came here and it was fall. I'm excited to have a yard of our own so I can get out and plant flowers and all that good stuff. Max really enjoys the yard too. He lays outside all day in the sun and chases birds around the yard.

Harry finally got an ALS date of May 25th. After he finishes up with the 6 weeks of ALS  he will offically be SSgt Sinner! I'm so proud of him :) As for me, I have tried my hardest to find a job out here and it's not looking good. I am starting back on my financial aid and testing stuff so I can get back in school this coming semester. I didn't get all my stuff done in time to start this pass semester so I have to get on the ball this time. It's not easy going back to school after you have been out for a while but now is the perfect time for me to do it. Well, I think that is pretty much it for the time being. I want to start blogging more often bc it's too much trying to keep everyone update on MySpace and Facebook with all the pics and everything. So..Much love for you guys xoxo!!
